The Off-Book Players

A Play About Parker.... the unlikely love story between twenty-something starving artist, Parker Price, and the much older John Parker.  From the onset, the attraction between them is evient and powerful.  Despite the age difference, Parker and John decide to begin a relationship... and what follows is a love affair that is at times both uplifting and toxic.  Written by Deanna Strasse, this stylized reading will be directed by Alexis Feilek.

"A staged reading is especially important in the world of play development as it is the show's first real chance to get up on its feet so to speak.  I will work with the director and actors prior to the reading in what we call 'workshopping' to find the kinks in the script and develop it further.  A reading is a chance to get feedback on the piece from members of the audience."   -Deanna

Please contact Deanna Strasse directly at 262.409.7245 with any questions.
